Due to the high wind warning issued by the National Weather service, Hanover School District #28 will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 12/15/2021. This decision was made for the safety of all the children in the district. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning with expected 60-80 mph winds in the District and some forecasts project gusts as high as 100 mph. The National Highway Safety Administration recommends extreme caution for school buses when winds reach 40 mph. Also, children having to walk would be walking in unsafe conditions. This will be identified as an adverse weather day and there will be no in-person or remote classes and the district offices will be closed. If you have questions or concerns, please contact your child’s building administrator. We appreciate your continued support.
