Bio:

Kyle Cooper is the Hanover School District Superintendent serving The Hanover Board, Staff, Students, Families, and Community. He actively seeks to provide dynamic, relevant educational and creative opportunities and experiences for all students, while fostering a close-knit culture where all students succeed, families are welcome, and the community is engaged.

Mr. Cooper recognizes that promoting positive relationships, individualism and collaboration, caring and  acceptance, respect and responsibility, sensitivity and honesty go hand in hand with developing the academic skills and character which will serve students throughout their lives.

Mr Cooper has founded and built his own corporation, taught at both large urban and small rural schools, and has been Principal and Superintendent within Colorado School Districts. He is most proud of innovations that meet student needs, such as increasing concurrent enrollment, adding career and technical programs and giving students the opportunities to excel at becoming their own person.

Mr Cooper is a licensed School Administrator and is certified to teach Social Studies, English, and Health.  He is a certified Special Educator as well as a certified Elementary Teacher.

Mr. Cooper holds a Masters degree in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University, as well as a Bachelors of Science degree in Secondary Education – with a Comprehensive Social Studies Emphasis.

Mr. Cooper has been married for 33 years and comes from a family of educators – with his wife, daughter, and son-in-law all teaching. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and playing guitar.
