2023-2024 in person ALMA ENROLLMENT

Hanover School District has two days for families to register their children in person at each school. Please see the dates and times below:

Prairie Heights Elementary School (grades PreK – 5)

Tuesday, July 18th 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 19th 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Hanover Jr/Sr. High School (grades 6 – 12)

Tuesday, July 25, 2023 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 26, 2023 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Please note: the District is currently on summer hours and responses may be delayed.

Alma Start

Through Alma we can offer online enrollment for current and new students! It is very important if your child(ren) attends the school district to have a parent/guardian account.

If your student is currently enrolled AND you do not have an active Alma account please contact the administrative assistant at your child’s school to get one.

You will need an activation email sent to you in order to continue. 

Enrollment for Current Students 2023 – 2024
If your student is currently enrolled and you have an active Alma account you may simply log into Alma and start the enrollment process. On the HOME page under TODAY’S SCHOOL ATTENDANCE click Alma Start Forms and Tasks.

Please make sure you are filling out the Re-Enrollment for Current Student process. If your family resides outside of Hanover School District 28 boundaries, you MUST fill out the Out of District Process as well (if you are unsure whether your address is out of district or not, please start the “Out of District” process and follow the instructions provided or view the boundary map given. If you are still unsure you may email/call for assistance.

New Student Enrollment for 2023 – 2024
If you need to enroll a new student, please visit https://hanoverhornets.almastart.com/ to create a new account.

August 17, 2023 – JR High Back to School Dance @ 4:15 p.m.
September 5, 2023 – First day of school for PreK
