Yesterday evening, the Board of Education voted to fill the two vacancy seats on the Board.

UPDATE 2/14/2023: Interview Questions

(not necessarily all inclusive nor in order)

Interested candidates questions for during the February 15, 2023 Board Meeting:

  • What do you believe to be the responsibilities of the Board of Education?
  • What, in your opinion, is a Board Member’s role in leadership of the district?
  • What is your availability – how much time/effort can you or are you willing to dedicate to this volunteer position?
  • What in your background/experience is relevant to being on the board of education?
  • Are you related to or are you personal/family friends with any employees of the district? If so, provide appropriate details.
  • Do you plan on running for election in November?
  • How will you assist in making sure our children get the proper education they deserve by appropriately trained professionals? 
  • How would you handle a parent’s complaint about nothing being done about bullying?

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the Hanover Board of Education approved Resolution 2023-06 Board Vacancies. The Board is looking for candidates to fulfill the two declared vacant seats.

If you are interested in filling one of these vacancies, please complete the form below. Please note, the deadline to submit your interest form is Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. Additionally, interviews will take place during the February Regular Board Meeting scheduled for February 15, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
