I was born on Fort Cason and spent the majority of my school years bouncing between duty stations as an Army brat, but always returning to the family ranch in Hanover whenever the Army would allow us. I’ve always called Hanover home. Although I attended many different schools in my travels, my time in Hanover School District was my most memorable. After graduation from high school, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where I successfully made it through most enlisted ranks, as well as most chief warrant officer ranks and ended up retiring as a major after 25 years. After my retirement from the Corps, I returned home to Hanover and have no plans of ever leaving again.
I now own and operate the family small cow/calf operation where I spend most of my time. When I’m not tending to the ranch, I enjoy giving back to the community. I’m a member of the Kirk Hanna Park Board, The Marine Corps League Pikes Peak Division, The Military Order of the Devil Dogs, The Rocky Mountain Tractor Pullers Association, board president of the Quarter Moon Ranch Scholarship Committee and now of course I’m honored to be on the Board of Education for this incredible district!
I’m blessed to be married to my amazing bride, Angel who is an RN/BSN at Memorial Main Hospital. Together we have 3 brilliant daughters. Our oldest daughter Brittney is a 5th grade teacher at Pikes Peak Elementary School, District 2. Our middle daughter Amanda is finishing her degree to be a game warden in NC and our youngest daughter Kylie is finishing her degree in criminology/psychology and doing great things as an animal control officer with the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department Denver.

I was born in Houston, Texas where we lived until I was twelve. We moved to Colorado in 1997 and I have lived here for twenty-seven years. We moved around a lot through my teen years but as a young adult I met my wonderful husband and now have been married for twenty-years. We have five beautiful children of our own, four boys and 1 girl and I have two step boys as well. Apart from being a mom I became a grandparent to a beautiful grandson two years ago, whom we love dearly.
Prior to moving to Mid-way in 2018, I worked in the medical field for fifteen years up till 2018. Once we got here I moved into a managing position in a school for a few years however I wanted more time with my children after having a Surprise baby three years ago so I currently am a stay-at-home mom enjoying my time traveling around with my children to all their sports events and taking care of all of our chickens, goats, and horses.
In my free time I enjoy reading and really just hanging out with my family. I believe the memories you create within your family will carry on for generations to come and will help mold our kiddos into the adults we hope for them to become.
I am excited and honored to be a part of the Hanover school board, I look forward to supporting our community in the best way possible to help our district continue to grow and move in the right direction in great educational opportunities.

I was born in Asheville NC. and raised in Hendersonville NC. in the Beautiful Blue Ridge Smoky Mountains. I attended East Henderson High School. After high school, I traveled thanks to the military where I met my husband and have been married for 38 years. We raised two children while traveling around the world and finally settled here in Hanover in 2001, after retiring from the military at Fort Carson.
As a military wife and mother, I have had the opportunity to hold many positions of employment. Most recently was at Fort Carson, where I worked as a Medical Support Assistant at Evans Army Medical Center in the Department of Surgery. I am now permanently retired and work around our small ranch where we raise cattle and play with our horses, cows, and chickens. We are raising our grandson who lives with us and attends Hanover Jr/Sr High. I am excited to be working with our board as we serve our Community and the Students we all Love and Support.
